Tony Romo has been battered, bruised and rammed by nearly every fan and media member out there. Often referred to as a “choker” and “loser,” Romo has endured a ton of criticism for his late-game ability (or lack thereof). Examples? The list starts with the botched field goal snap in the 2006 playoffs and extends through the three playoff-killing interceptions he threw in Week 17 of 2012. Long story short, Romo’s late-game history is questionable at best.
However, so many people are quick to pile on the dismal performances from the 33-year-old quarterback, and ironically those are the same people quick to brush aside any accomplishments from Romo. I’ll be honest: I am one of the millions that ridicules Romo during his low moments. And, I’ll also be honest: there are times I have swept aside his good performances.
